Salary/Benefits: £22,325 to £26,629 pro-rata per annum

Required to take responsibility for providing purchasing and financial support to the School.

You will be responsible for undertaking purchasing, transaction processing and approval, reconciliation of financial queries and advising colleagues on University financial procedures.  In addition you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and adopting new procedures in keeping with University policy.  You will also assist the School's Operations Manager in producing management information and work with colleagues in Central Finance to develop new working practices as required. 

You should be educated to 'A' Level standard or equivalent and have significant experience of working in a finance/ procurement area, preferably in Higher Education.  You should have proven experience of monitoring budgets and have the ability to assimilate and apply regulatory information effectively and be able to interact confidently with staff on all levels.
