Job Description
Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Data Warehouse Architect, Permanent-Dublin.

Our highly respected client has a requirement for an experienced BI DW Architect due to the continued success of their BI division.

Technical Requirements
o Experience and demonstrated competencies with multi-dimensional design, star schema's, facts and dimensions.
o Expertise in logical and physical data warehouse database design (Oracle OBIEE)
o Experience and demonstrated competencies in ETL development techniques
o Experience in data warehouse performance optimisation.
o Implement enterprise wide ETL and OBIEE reporting standards that will allow for optimal coded solutions to be built going forward.
o Ability to evangelise BI within the team.

Experience working with two or more of the following technologies:

o Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
o Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)
o Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
o Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
o Microsoft Project Plan
o SQL Developer Data Modeller (or another modelling tool)

Responsibilities:
o Architecting, Designing, Implementing and Supporting data warehouse and business intelligence solutions, including the ability to present and negotiate with stakeholders on designs produced

o Develop an understanding of client's KPI's or performance metrics - working with end users.

o Mentor the BI team on solution delivery.
o Creation of accurate level of estimates and project plans in initial phases of projects
o Responsible for the technical delivery of the overall solution - either solely or working within a delivery team.
